22 - 24 AUGUST 2025 ; TENBY SCHOOLS SETIA ECO PARK
Letter from the Secretary-Generals
Dear Esteemed Readers,
It is our great honour to welcome each of you to the first occurrence of Tenby Setia Eco Park Model United Nations Conference (TSEPMUN’25). The Secretariat has dedicated immense effort to ensure that this conference operates seamlessly, and we are excited to share this experience with you.
Reflecting on the journey that has brought us to this point, it is funny to be saying that we will be hosting a MUN conference in Tenby. I recall clearly that just 2 years ago, the concept of “MUN” was relatively a foreign concept within our school community. Many students were unfamiliar with the name, leading to humorous nicknames, such as “Model what?”, “Model United States?”, or “Muddle States?” Hysterical right? It is reassuring to see the evolution of awareness in our school, with most students now knowing what MUN is (or, well, at least getting the name right this time).
The topics curated for this conference align with our chosen theme, “The Future of Humanity: Changemakers of Tomorrow”. This theme was chosen to underscore the significance of individuals who can make things happen, who can change the future tomorrow, and the people who make the impossible happen. We believe that the future of humanity lies in the hands of those who aspire to make a difference, transforming challenges into opportunities.
We sincerely hope that the 3 days of TSEPMUN’25 inspires you to become changemakers in your own right. May you enjoy fruitful discussions, forge meaningful connections, and gain many unforgettable memories.
Warmest regards,
Dayna Ng & Yashveer Nayagam
Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-General of TSEPMUN’25
